NEW WARD CREATED: Trenton Ward

On Sunday, February 23, 2025, representatives from The Far West Missouri Stake, along with (the president of the Missouri Independence Mission) President Sommerfeldt and his wife, joined the Trenton Branch for a special meeting.

The Branch leadership was dissolved with the announcement of the formation of The Trenton Ward. Members of the former Branch Presidency were released with a vote of thanks. Then the new Bishopric was called.  

Members of the Bishopric include Bishop Viliami Aso, with Sione Vakalahi as his first counselor, and Jeffrey Durfee as second counselor. 

 

Bishop Aso shared his testimony and expressed his thanks to everyone that helped build up this ward. He said we continue to build the kingdom of God.  

President Fawson spoke of how this ward and place have been dedicated as a place of healing for the Tongan Members and their families.

President Tyler spoke about the Lord hastening his work and that we all have a part to do in the Lord's work.
